Ladies, we have a common task to lift.:

To reduce the consumption of plastic! 

It's absolutely brittle how much plastic is being used in our every day life.

& when you put the numbers together you can really imagine what a massive amount of plastic produce there is…. 

Here we have just a few examples:

► In Denmark we spend around 460 million pcs. plastic bags a year. This corresponds to approx. 85 bags per Dane a year! 

► In the US 500 million straws are used pr. DAY!  It corresponds to 125 buses filled with (ONLY) straws ...

►Worldwide we use about 1 million. plastic bottles pr. MINUTE - That’s 20,000 bottles per second. !! 91% will not be recycled - and over half of them end up in the landfill, in nature and in the sea ….

► For now we have more plastic in the Ocean than we have stars on the MilkyWay (Galaxy)

► Did you know that our world plastic consumption corresponds to emptying a stuffed container into the Ocean EVERY MINUTE ! (Terrifying) 

► In most major brands within skin and body care products, you will find micro plastic. You do not think so, but if you look a little closer to your products, you can see that there are actually plastic in many of them. It's called PE, polyethylene or polypropylene. So therefore look closely on the ingredient list next time you are buying a new product. 

Huge amounts of microplastics are flushed out in our aquatic environment to eventually end up in our food …

New studies has actually shown that we are also eating plastic. Image that! Our stomach filled with micro plastic?! 

In the United States, microplastics have been banned in creams and toothpaste from 2018, but in DK there are still specific legislation in the area, although there is still an increasing focus on the problem.

YAH! it’s a sad story ...

So therefore! : 

We need to do something smarter!
